What it is
Timec Praziquantel contains praziquantel 600mg, an anti-worm (anthelmintic) medicine.
What it is used for
Doctors prescribe praziquantel to treat schistosomiasis (bilharzia), liver flukes and some tapeworm infections.
How to take it
Take exactly as prescribed. The dose depends on your body weight and the infection being treated. Swallow the tablets whole with water during a meal.
Cautions
It can cause dizziness and drowsiness, so do not drive or use machinery on the day of treatment and the day after. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, have liver problems or epilepsy, or take other medicines.
