What it is
BG MAL SUSPENSION 60ML contains artemether with lumefantrine (20/120), an artemisinin-based antimalarial combination, as an oral suspension.
What it is used for
It is used to treat uncomplicated malaria.
How to use it
Give it exactly as prescribed, based on the child’s weight, usually over 3 days. Measure each dose with the syringe or spoon provided. If the pack contains a powder, add water as directed on the pack before the first dose. Shake well before each dose. Give each dose with food or milk. Complete the full course.
Cautions
See a doctor urgently if symptoms get worse, or if the child vomits a dose, becomes very drowsy or cannot drink. Tell our pharmacist about any other medicines you take, and if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
