Zolon Pidogrel 75mg (Clopidogrel) x 10 Tablets

Description

What it is

Pidogrel contains clopidogrel 75mg, an antiplatelet medicine. It makes blood platelets less sticky, which lowers the risk of harmful clots.

What it is used for

Doctors prescribe clopidogrel to help prevent heart attacks and strokes in people who have had one before, who have narrowed arteries in the legs, or who have had a heart stent fitted.

How to take it

Take exactly as prescribed, usually once a day. Do not stop taking it without talking to your doctor, especially if you have a stent.

Cautions

Clopidogrel increases the risk of bleeding. Tell any doctor or dentist treating you that you take it. Check with your pharmacist before taking painkillers such as ibuprofen or aspirin, or stomach medicines such as omeprazole, as some can interact with clopidogrel.
