What it is
Vinaquine Syrup 60Ml contains chloroquine, an antimalarial.
What it is used for
It is used for some types of malaria and for certain other conditions as prescribed by a doctor.
How to use it
Give the dose for your child’s age or weight as prescribed by your doctor, measured with the spoon or syringe provided. Shake the bottle well before each dose.
Cautions
Chloroquine is no longer recommended to treat the common (falciparum) malaria in Nigeria, because the parasite is resistant to it; artemisinin combination treatments are used instead. It is very dangerous in overdose, especially for children, so give only the exact prescribed dose and keep it out of reach of children. It can cause itching.
