What it is
Klovinal x 6 Pessaries contains metronidazole, clotrimazole and lactobacillus, a vaginal pessary combining an antibiotic, an antifungal and a probiotic.
What it is used for
It is used for mixed vaginal infections, such as bacterial vaginosis, thrush and trichomoniasis.
How to use it
Insert it high into the vagina as prescribed by your doctor, usually at bedtime. Wash your hands before and after use.
Cautions
Avoid alcohol during treatment and for 2 days afterwards. Not for use in the first three months of pregnancy unless a doctor advises it. See a doctor if symptoms return. Ask our pharmacist before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or before using it on a young child.
