ARTEQUIN CHILD 300/375 X 6 TABLETS contains artesunate with mefloquine, an artemisinin-based antimalarial combination.
What it is used for
It is used to treat uncomplicated malaria.
How to use it
Take it exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not change the dose or stop early without medical advice.
Cautions
Mefloquine can cause dizziness, sleep problems, anxiety and, rarely, serious mental health effects, so it is not suitable for people with epilepsy or a history of depression or other mental illness. Complete the full course, and see a doctor urgently if symptoms get worse. Tell our pharmacist about any other medicines you take, and if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
