What it is
AVROFLOX TN X 10 TABLETS contains ciprofloxacin with tinidazole, a combination antibiotic.
What it is used for
It is used for gut infections such as infective diarrhoea and dysentery, and some gynaecological and dental infections caused by mixed bacteria.
How to use it
Take it exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not change the dose or stop early without medical advice.
Cautions
Do not drink alcohol during treatment and for 3 days afterwards. Do not take it with milk, antacids or iron and zinc supplements at the same time. Stop and see a doctor if you get tendon pain. Not usually used in children or pregnancy. Tell our pharmacist about any other medicines you take, and if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
