What it is
BG AZITHROMYCIN SUSP 30ML contains azithromycin, a macrolide antibiotic.
What it is used for
It is used to treat chest, ear, throat, skin and eye infections, and some sexually transmitted infections such as chlamydia.
How to use it
Take it as prescribed by your doctor. Shake the bottle if the label says so, and measure each dose with the spoon, cup or syringe provided rather than a kitchen spoon.
Cautions
Usually taken for 3 to 5 days. Tell your doctor if you have heart rhythm or liver problems. Stomach upset is common. Tell our pharmacist about any other medicines you take, and if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
