Combination 3 contains levonorgestrel with ethinylestradiol, a combined oral contraceptive pill.
What it is used for
Taken correctly every day, it prevents pregnancy. The 7 brown tablets contain iron and are taken during the pill-free week.
How to use it
Take it as directed on the pack or by our pharmacist. Do not take more than the stated dose.
Cautions
Speak to a pharmacist, nurse or doctor before starting, to check it suits you. It is not suitable for smokers over 35 or people with a history of blood clots, stroke, certain migraines or high blood pressure. It does not protect against sexually transmitted infections. Get urgent help for calf pain or swelling, chest pain or sudden breathlessness. Tell our pharmacist about any other medicines you take, and if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
