What it is
MAXIDEX EYE DROPS 5ML is a steroid eye drop.
What it is used for
It reduces inflammation in the eye, for example after eye surgery or in some allergic and inflammatory eye conditions, as directed by an eye doctor.
How to use it
Use it as prescribed by your doctor. Wash your hands first, do not let the dropper tip touch your eye, and remove contact lenses unless told otherwise.
Cautions
Use only under a doctor’s supervision. Long or unsupervised use can raise eye pressure, cause cataracts and worsen eye infections, including herpes infections of the eye. Do not stop suddenly after long use unless your doctor says so. Ask our pharmacist before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or before using it on a young child.
