What it is
MAXITROL EYE DROPS 5ML is a steroid and antibiotic eye drop.
What it is used for
It treats eye inflammation where there is also a bacterial infection or a risk of one, for example after eye surgery, as directed by an eye doctor.
How to use it
Use it as prescribed by your doctor. Wash your hands first, do not let the dropper tip touch your eye, and remove contact lenses unless told otherwise.
Cautions
Use only under a doctor’s supervision and for the time prescribed. Long use can raise eye pressure, cause cataracts and hide or worsen infections, including viral and fungal ones. Do not wear contact lenses during treatment. Ask our pharmacist before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or before using it on a young child.
