What it is
TROPHEN (TROPICAMIDE/PHENYLEPHRINE) EYE DROP is a pupil-dilating eye drop.
What it is used for
It widens the pupil for eye examinations and some eye treatments, as used by an eye doctor.
How to use it
Use it as prescribed by your doctor. Wash your hands first, do not let the dropper tip touch your eye, and remove contact lenses unless told otherwise.
Cautions
It blurs vision and causes sensitivity to light for several hours, so do not drive until your vision is back to normal. Atropine drops can be poisonous if swallowed; keep them away from children. Ask our pharmacist before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or before using it on a young child.
