What it is used for
It is taken to support normal red blood cell formation and to help people who do not get enough iron from their diet.
How to take it
Measure the dose shown on the label with the cup or spoon provided, and shake the bottle before use if directed.
Cautions
It can cause dark stools, constipation or stomach upset; taking it with food helps. Keep it well out of reach of children, as iron overdose is dangerous. Tea and coffee reduce absorption. Food supplements should not replace a varied, balanced diet or any medicine prescribed by your doctor.
