What it is
MASON CALCIUM MAGNESIUM ZINC X 100 TABLETS is a magnesium supplement. It also contains calcium and zinc.
What it is used for
Magnesium supports normal muscle and nerve function, energy and bone health, and helps reduce tiredness.
How to take it
Take as directed on the label, usually with food and a glass of water. Do not take more than the recommended daily amount.
Cautions
Some forms, especially citrate and oxide, can loosen the stools. People with kidney disease should check with a doctor first. Keep it 2 hours apart from some antibiotics and thyroid tablets. It can cause constipation. Keep it at least 2 hours apart from iron, thyroid tablets and some antibiotics. Check with a doctor if you have had kidney stones. Take it with food to avoid nausea. Long-term high doses can lower copper levels. Keep it apart from some antibiotics. Food supplements should not replace a varied, balanced diet or any medicine prescribed by your doctor.
