How to take it
Take as directed on the label, usually with food and a glass of water. Do not take more than the recommended daily amount.
Cautions
Kava has been linked to rare but serious liver damage. Do not use it if you have liver problems, drink alcohol or take sedatives, and not in pregnancy. Stop and see a doctor if you notice yellow skin, dark urine or unusual tiredness. Do not take it with blood thinners such as warfarin, aspirin or clopidogrel unless your doctor agrees, and stop before surgery. Food supplements should not replace a varied, balanced diet or any medicine prescribed by your doctor.
