What it is
Penicillin Topical Ointment 10,000 I.U x 20G contains penicillin, a topical antibiotic ointment.
What it is used for
It is applied to the skin for minor bacterial skin infections.
How to use it
Apply it to the affected area as directed on the pack or by our pharmacist. For external use only. Wash your hands after use unless your hands are being treated.
Cautions
Do not use it if you are allergic to penicillin. Penicillin applied to the skin can cause a skin allergy that may make future penicillin treatment unsafe, so many doctors prefer other treatments. See a doctor for spreading, painful or deep infections. Ask our pharmacist before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or before using it on a young child.
