Description
What it is
Phamatinic Nicotinic Acid 50mg x 10 Tablets contains nicotinic acid (niacin), a form of vitamin B3.
What it is used for
It is used to prevent or correct vitamin B3 deficiency, including pellagra.
How to use it
Take it as directed on the pack or by our pharmacist. Do not take more than the stated dose.
Cautions
It often causes flushing, warmth and itching of the skin shortly after a dose. Higher doses can affect the liver and blood sugar, so check with a doctor if you have liver disease, gout, diabetes or a stomach ulcer. Tell our pharmacist about any other medicines you take, and if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
