Description
What it is
Resthrotec x 10 Tablets contains diclofenac with misoprostol, an anti-inflammatory painkiller combined with a stomach-protecting medicine.
What it is used for
It is used for pain and inflammation in osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis in people at risk of stomach ulcers from anti-inflammatory medicines.
How to use it
Take it exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not change the dose or stop early without medical advice.
Cautions
It must not be taken in pregnancy, or by anyone who could become pregnant without reliable contraception, because misoprostol can cause miscarriage and birth defects. Avoid it if you have a stomach ulcer, heart disease or kidney problems. Take it with food; diarrhoea is common. Tell our pharmacist about any other medicines you take, and if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
