Description
What it is
Tribinat Sus 60ml contains cefuroxime axetil 125mg, a cephalosporin antibiotic, as an oral suspension.
What it is used for
It treats bacterial infections such as ear, throat, sinus and chest infections, urinary tract infections and some skin infections.
How to use it
Give it exactly as prescribed, based on the child’s weight. Measure each dose with the syringe or spoon provided. If the pack contains a powder, add water as directed on the pack before the first dose. Shake well before each dose. It is best given with food. Complete the full course.
Cautions
Do not use if you or the child are allergic to cephalosporins, and tell the doctor about any penicillin allergy. It can cause diarrhoea; see a doctor if diarrhoea is severe or bloody. Tell our pharmacist about any other medicines you take, and if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
