Description
What it is
Ultra Carbon (Activated Charcoal) x 10 Tablets is a vitamin C supplement. It also contains activated charcoal.
What it is used for
Vitamin C supports normal immune function, collagen formation for skin and gums, and iron absorption.
How to take it
Take as directed on the label, usually with food and a glass of water. Do not take more than the recommended daily amount.
Cautions
High doses can cause stomach upset or diarrhoea. People with kidney stones should check with a doctor before taking high doses. It can reduce absorption of medicines and the contraceptive pill; take it at least 2 hours apart from them. It can turn stools black. Food supplements should not replace a varied, balanced diet or any medicine prescribed by your doctor.
