What it is
WINS TOWN WEIGHT CONTROL SLIM PLUS CAPSULE is a herbal weight management supplement containing green tea extract, garcinia cambogia, guarana extract, ginger extract, piperine (black pepper extract) and spirulina.
What it is used for
It is marketed to support weight management alongside a calorie-controlled diet and regular exercise. Evidence that these ingredients cause meaningful weight loss is limited.
How to take it
Take as directed on the label, and do not take more than the recommended daily amount. Avoid taking it late in the day, as it contains caffeine.
Cautions
Not suitable in pregnancy or breastfeeding, for anyone under 18, or if you have high blood pressure, a heart condition, anxiety, or liver disease. Guarana and green tea contain caffeine, so limit coffee and energy drinks while taking it. Garcinia and concentrated green tea extract have been linked to rare liver problems: stop and see a doctor if you notice yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine or tummy pain. Piperine can change how some medicines are absorbed. Food supplements should not replace a varied, balanced diet or any medicine prescribed by your doctor.
