What it is
Ciron Cefulvin Oral Suspension 100ml contains griseofulvin, an oral antifungal.
What it is used for
It treats fungal infections of the scalp, skin, hair and nails, such as scalp ringworm in children.
How to use it
Take it as prescribed by your doctor. Shake the bottle well and measure each dose with the spoon, cup or syringe provided rather than a kitchen spoon.
Cautions
Take it with a fatty meal and continue for the full course, which is often several weeks. It can make skin sensitive to sunlight. Not for use in pregnancy, and men should not father a child for 6 months after treatment. Tell our pharmacist about any other medicines you take, and if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
