What it is
INJ SAMARTH MENOTROPIN (HMG) 75IU contains menotropin (hMG), a fertility hormone containing FSH and LH.
What it is used for
It stimulates the ovaries to produce eggs in fertility treatment such as IVF, and is used in some men to help sperm production, under a fertility specialist.
How to use it
This injection is given by a doctor, nurse or trained health worker, or by you after proper training, exactly as prescribed. Store it as stated on the pack.
Cautions
Treatment is monitored with scans and blood tests. It can cause ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome and raises the chance of twins or more; get medical help for severe tummy pain or swelling, or breathlessness. Tell our pharmacist about any other medicines you take, and if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
