What it is used for
Ginkgo is traditionally taken to support memory and circulation.
How to take it
Take as directed on the label, usually with food and a glass of water. Do not take more than the recommended daily amount.
Cautions
Do not take it with blood thinners such as warfarin, aspirin or clopidogrel unless your doctor agrees, and stop before surgery. It may affect blood sugar and interact with blood thinners and some antidepressants. Avoid in pregnancy and if you have high blood pressure. Food supplements should not replace a varied, balanced diet or any medicine prescribed by your doctor.
